Second teaser Chapter 8 Mr. Hopeful:
I thought I would give you a second teaser because you all are being so patient and so confused. lol

I said my goodbyes to the guys, scheduling another jam session and went to the Volvo. We had been planning a gig in the next week, so we wanted to be as sharp as possible. We hadn't told anybody we had started talking to an agent again, so we were planning on surprising everyone with our comeback show.
I drove back home, passing a few flower shops on the way and decided. "What the hell," I said, nodding my head and smiling.
I parked in the lot for "Irene's Magnificent Blooms" and went inside.
"Hello," An older woman greeted me as I walked further into the store. I smiled. "Can I help you with something?"
"Uh…yeah," I said, running a hand through my hair and suddenly feeling very nervous. I hadn't been in a flower shop for years. "I'm looking for something simple with daisies, if you have them," answered, then smiled as I remember Bella telling me she preferred wild flowers and daisies over cultivated.
"Ok, is there anything specific you were looking for? Something small, large or even a basket?" She asked, moving over to a row of assorted flowers, including a multitude of different coloured daisies. Shit! She didn't tell me if she liked a specific colour daisy.
"Uh…"I answer, stunned at how difficult this actually was and feeling like a jackass for not knowing how to do this anymore. I walked over to the different bins of flowers and looked around for the bouquet that said Bella.
There it was.
A small bouquet, very simple and pure, just like Bella, with white daisies and baby's breath.
"She's the one...err…that's the one, I mean," The lady smirked and grabbed the bouquet from the bin and brought it over the wrapping table. She tired a yellow ribbon around the middle of the stems tightly and them wrapped then in a plastic coating. I walked over to the cash and handed her my credit card.
"Is there something you would like written on the card?" she asked handing me back my card and the slip to sigh, which I did.

It's SPUNK!

Coconut Chutney
I absolutely adore coconut and can't get enough of it. This is my version of a South Indian condiment used for grilled fish or chicken.
Once made, eat immediately. It doesn't keep well, at all.
serves about 8 people
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cm fresh ginger root
1 fresh green or red chile(whichever you prefer), seeded and minced
2 cups freshly grated coconut
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. brown mustard
1 sprig of fresh curry leaves( found, usualy, in Asian food markets or specialty stores)
2 shallots, finely sliced
handful fresh cilantro leaves
juice of 1 lime
Pound the garlic and ginger into a paste using a mortar and pestle. Add the chile, and continue to mash until smooth. Add the coconut, and 2 tbsp water. Keep pounding together.
Heat the oil in a wok over medium heat. Add the mustard, and stir constantly for about 30 seconds or so. Add the shallot, curry leaves, and cook for about 2 minutes until the shallots are softened. Remove fromthe heat, and mix together.
Add the cilantro leaves and the lime juice, and remove the curry leaves from the wok. Blend well and taste for seasoning. You can, at any time, adjust the flavours with more lime juice or salt, if needed.

They all stood stark still as they listened to his foot steps, his sharp knife, glinting in the bits of sun through the rain. The woman’s gold dress now drenched in blood and staining the ground beneath her a dark burgundy.
